# Why “micronation” is the wrong category for the Kingdom of Weymarck

Secondary blogs (including some ArticleBiz-style essays) describe Weymarck as a micronation because it is absent from the UN, EU, and NATO and hard to find on commercial maps. That framing confuses **quiet bilateral sovereignty** with unrecognized self-proclamation.
